A biography of the tragic life of one of Brazil's greatest soccer players, Heleno de Freitas, starring Rodrigo Santoro, one of Brazil's most talented and famous actors. Santoro was Raul Castro, in Steve Soderbergh's CHE, was also in LION'S DEN by Pablo Trapero and starred in NOT BY CHANCE (DFS 7/18/2009). He was in other major films such as, “I Love You Phillip Morris” with Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor, ‘300’ as Xerces, Fox Searchlights' ‘The Post Grad Survival Guide’ with Michael Keaton and Carol Burnett, and the Emmy award-winning LOST. HELENO also stars Angie Cepeda, one of Colombian’s well known actresses.

It's South Africa 1990. Two major events are about to happen: The release of Nelson Mandela and, more importantly, it's Spud Milton's first year at an elite boys only private boarding school. Spud has his hands full trying to adapt to his new home. Along the way Spud takes his first tentative steps along the path to manhood. (The path it seems could be a rather long road). He is cursed with parents from well beyond the lunatic fringe and a senile granny. Armed with only his wits and his diary, Spud takes us from illegal night swimming to the red-hot furnace of the cricket pitch, from ghostbusting to a catastrophic family vacation.

LUCY explores the creative mind of an autistic 11-year-old girl and shows you how she turns her disability into a strength through her imagination. The film was inspired by Libby's little brother Luke who is autistic himself. It shows a fascinating and seldom seen side of autism and the souls who struggle with it.
Now with 54 individual film festival awards in the last 3 years with her four short films Libby is moving on to the Big Film Festival Circuit, Cable and The Talk Shows. Oprah and Ellen are showing interest in Libby and "LUCY"

The film examines what it takes to be a top model - the demanding and oftentimes unattainable physical requirements of the position, the financial and emotional investment, and the moral negotiations that are sometimes prerequisites for making it. The film follows supermodels, photographers, agents, designers, plastic surgeons, make-up artists and psychologists and asks the question...what is beauty and is it worth the cost?
